+ 100 "zero speed"
Samos keeps its leadership in the Stabilization at Anchor S@A ("zero speed") Italian market. More than one hundred systems sold among new vessels and retrofits. The S@A system supplied by Samos is suitable for vessels between 24-90 mt. long, is the most advanced in the market, thanks to ten years of experience and development since VT Naiad Marine has delivered the first stabilizers "zero speed" fin application in the world.
 
   
   
Spring 2008 - Big commissioning campaign in sight for Samos in Spring/Summer 2008. More than 30 vessels - mostly equipped with S@A ("zero speed") stabilizers - will be commissioned from now to August 2008. Those numbers will increase more and more in the future after Samos steady growth in sales since many years and still increasing.  
   
   
February 2008 - Under delivery the biggest anchor windlass ever built at Opem Sistemi. It's for a 72 mt. long vessel under costruction in one of the most important italian yards. Meanwhile Opem Sistemi is developing even bigger systems.

VT Naiad Marine and Azimut-Benetti jointly announced today the agreement to upgrade and extend their long-term supply
partnership. Benetti, part of the Azimut-Benetti group, the world’s leading yacht builder, has chosen VT Naiad Marine as preferred supplier of all Stabilization at Anchor/zero forward speed stabilizer systems, bow thrusters and integrated hydraulic systems for their entire composite line of yachts, including the Legend, Tradition, Classic and Vision series yachts.
The three- year agreement includes supply for 56 hulls and is valued in excess of
€7.2m ($9.5m).
VTNM global sales and marketing manager, Scott Anthony stated “Long term, multiunit
