Opem Sistemi, part of the Samos group, manufactures naval equipment for yachts, passenger, and military vessels.
The design and construction characteristics of Opem Sistemi’s products meet the main Classification Societies’ regulations as well as the customization requests from customers.
Opem Sistemi's production focuses on electro-hydraulic or electric steering systems and mooring machinery.
Steering Gears
Essentially, they consist of control parts (follow-up/non-follow-up/autopilot/emergency), force components (control units, valves, cylinders) and mechanical elements (tiller, joints, rudder carriers).
They can be supplied with a tie rod or with electronically synchronized rudders. They can also be connected to the various integrated dashboard systems available on the market.
The SYES (Super Yacht Electric Steering) version, which foresees linear actuators actioned by high end technology motors, is already a consolidated reality.
Mooring Machinery
Opem Sistemi designs and manufactures windlasses and related accessories for chains from 14 to 50mm.
In addition to the control system by means of the inverter, push buttons and radio control, the supply includes also the gearbox units.
The visible mechanical parts are all made of mirror polished AISI 316 steel.
The range is completed by the mooring winches made with the same construction philosophy and with a pull up to 10 T.
Commissioning
After the supply, Opem Sistemi, in collaboration with the technical and production offices of the shipyards, carefully follows all the installation phases of its systems and enters the field directly for start-up and testing.
